About Party In Your Shoes

Party In Your Shoes was started by Gloria, who saw her husband, Terry, doing his darndest at his office job. We have one goal: to reassure everyone that their work self isn’t their real self.

First, we start with high quality cotton socks, giving them a tad bit more heft than most dress socks. They are taller too, rising safely above the calf so that you don’t show some leg in a meeting with your next big client. We work directly with small-batch manufacturers to produce each design. Our crazy patterns are only visible when you take off your shoe (thereby preserving your outside corporate persona).

Gloria is involved in every part of the business, from communicating (in Chinese!) with the factory and handling the photography on our website, to managing the full-service e-commerce platform and social media marketing. She splits her time between Seattle (where the customer service staff, inventory and head sales office is located) and Beijing.

Terry provides moral support, testing services, and his foot from time to time for pictures.

We now carry more than 16 styles (with new ones continually in the works). In addition to always being available for purchase online, our socks are offered by certain select menswear boutiques on the West Coast.

From time to time we give special offers to the people who love us (so like us on Facebook, follow us on Twitter, “Fancy” us and take a look at our blog).  We are always looking for great ideas, pictures of our socks in action, and we give away socks to people who take a crack at writing descriptions, so give us a shout.
